The Erasmus Programme “Intensive Programmes”, which is part of the LifeLong Learning 2007 - 2013, promotes the establishment of short educational initiatives (2 to 6 weeks), developed by University partnerships. The partnership developed by the University of Udine, as the project leader, is composed of 5 different Universities:
- Rīga Juridiskās augstskola - Riga Graduate School of Law, Lettonia;
- Universitatea de Vest din Timişoara, Romania;
- De Montfort University - Leicester, UK;
- Evropska pravna fakulteta v Novi Gorici, Slovenia.
The objective of the European funding is to allow European students and teachers to participate to educational initiatives, while benefiting from an international and specialistic context of learning.
The title of intensive course, which will take place from the second half of July, will be: "Users' Rights and Market Regulation". During the two week course, about five or six students and two or three professors from the University partners will participate: other than the traditional lectures, there will be a series of events, including conferences, seminars, round tables, interactive activities, simulations of processes and discussions which will take place in the presence of the teachers and professionals.
